Spoon as a Jewel

The spoon is the least aggressive object in a cutlery line, but also the object which a lot of people cherish, passing from one generation to the next. Whereas, for example, a knife cuts and a fork pricks or stabs aggressively, a spoon does totally the opposite. A spoon is used in a gentle and elegant fashion, movements which are exaggerated with this new design. The spoon has been designed to fall over your right index finger, forcing you to “wear” the spoon in a totally different and elegant manner: more as a jewel, so to speak. Hereby the spoon, the organic form of which is inspired by the 1930s coachbuilt bodywork of Figoni et Falaschi (who are renown for their extravagant streamlined designs on Delahaye and Talbot-Lago chassis’), becomes an noticeable extension of your body.
The spoon has been designed for small exclusive hors-d’oeuvres, such as Caviar, etc.
